Khun Tom, Pi Amy & Tofu
We're Khun Tom & Pi Amy — a photographer and a writer who fell in love with Thailand, and then with the quiet places inside it.
We split our time between Bangkok and Nakhon Si Thammarat, where the pace is slower, the light is longer, and the mornings start with birdsong instead of traffic. We built Sabai Life to document the spaces that make people exhale — the hotels, the villas, the rooms that feel like a deep breath.
Tom shoots. Amy writes and styles. Tofu supervises from the nearest sunbeam.
Photography & Direction
Available light, slow shutter speeds, the corners of rooms. The version of the place a guest remembers six months later.
Words & Styling
Copy, captions, and the small details that make a frame feel lived-in. The open book, the half-drunk coffee, the towel left just so.
Quality Control
Bed comfort testing. Pool-adjacent napping. Ensuring all locations meet his exacting standards of warmth and calm.
Most months, we're somewhere between our two homes — a villa in Koh Samui, a heritage shophouse in Phra Nakhon, a clifftop in Krabi. We bring cameras, notebooks, and Tofu. We stay a few days. We shoot in the mornings and the late afternoons, when the light is honest.
That route, the road, the rooms, the mornings, is the lens we bring to client work. Not glossy. Not staged. The version of the place a returning guest would recognise.
